This is one of several games on the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration website. It was created to introduce science-based, educational concepts and raise awareness and interest in topics dealing with estuaries, water quality, tides, and marine debris for middle school students.  Other games on the site are appropriate for elementary students.  There are also many student and teacher resources on the site.
